Description: Nature has built in safeguards in its ecosystems. These safeguards strike a perfect balance. Trouble starts when human interaction disturbs that balance. Mangroves forests along Pakistan’s coast stand as guards not only against potential disasters like high waves and tsunamis, they serve as nurseries for marine life, on which the fishing communities depend. It is extremely important to realize their role in the coastal habitat and to take action to preserve them for the next generation.

Event: Karachi Literature Festival

Event: Image Premium Lawn Exhibition 2012

Description: The lawn season is here. Swirly prints, radiant colours, embroidery done all over – you name it! Image Premium Lawn also held an exhibition recently at The Dynasty Hall, Clifton, Karachi.

It’s a lawn and chiffon mixed collection with floral designs and colours like those of candies. These prints can be worn casually and as evening party-wear as well.

Event: Nadia Hussain’s Signature Lawn Exhibition 2012

Description: The spring and summer season is here and that means the new lawn collections have arrived! One of them is Signature Lawn designed by Nadia Hussain, the actress and model who launched it in February 2011.

Nadia intends to bring the best to her customers. That is why she has selected specific colour palettes and patterns in her new collection. The hues are bright and a little dull here and there. The designs are pretty to see and wear!

The exhibition is at the Imperial Garden, Clifton, Karachi on the 7th, 8th and 9th of February.  Be sure to check it out!
